The Alaska Long Trail is being stewarded by Alaska Trails, a nonprofit that builds, maintains, and advocates for trails across Alaska, along with the Long Trail Coalition (representatives from each region along the route) and more focused regional working groups.
Alaska Trail Stewards
The mission of the Alaska Trail Stewards Program is to provide volunteer-based trail construction and maintenance services to public land managers and others who have the responsibility to safely and sustainably maintain trails throughout Alaska.
